About Atriplex Emergency Management

Our Vision

A resilient future for small to medium businesses in regional Western Australia, where every organisation is prepared for bushfires, storms, cyclones, and other hazards through effective emergency management planning and a culture of readiness.

Our Mission

Atriplex is committed to strengthening the safety and resilience of small to medium businesses — the backbone of regional WA communities. Through expert emergency management planning, tailored training, and impactful workshops, we prepare our clients for bushfires, storms, cyclones, and other hazards.

Our Name

Atriplex, also called saltbush, is a family of shrubby plants native to Western Australia that flourish in salty soils and grow well in coastal and desert environments.
Atriplex is an important bush food and medicine for Aboriginal people. They are drought tolerant, help stabilise soil during strong winds and cyclones, and most Atriplex species are resistant to fire.
We are committed to building resilience within regional WA businesses and communities to mirror the enduring nature of Atriplex.
